Navigation buoy positions are currently being finalised. Once complete an up to date position list will be published, along with a drone video of the channel.

Mariners are reminded that the channel moves regularly, and shoal areas may be encountered where not expected. For this reason mariners should navigate at a reduced and safe speed.

Patch pontoon is CLOSED until further notice and must not be used as it is DANGEROUS.
ALL mariners must not use the pontoons at St Dogmaels and Prince Charles Quay except for “Embarking “and “Disembarking “, thus keeping the facility clear for all river users. Any craft tied up to the inside of the St Dogmaels pontoon who do not have a licence to moor there will be “ REMOVED “.  Bonified users will have their ID adjacent to their allotted space on the deck of the pontoon in the immediate future! As the Patch pontoon is unusable, it is of paramount importance to keep the Pontoon at St Dogmaels clear, any craft left on the pontoon will be removed .

Any breach of the 5 MPH speed limit through the moorings situate, TBC Gut , Pawl Sarma , St Dogmaels and Netpool up to Cardigan old bridge, will result of a substantial fine and possible refusal of use of the River

The buoyage in the river is in place as of today, but the sandbanks are on the move!  Skippers are advised to check the river at low water to ascertain the deep water channel   If a Buoy is noticed to be out of position would they be so kind as to contact the Navigation Officer on 07799284206 ASAP .
